When you sign up, you provide us with your name and email address. When you create a project, we request your address, city, state, zip code, phone number, and how you heard about us. By default, all this information is visible to employees of Legacy Productions and to the copyright owners whom we contact to obtain your licenses, but is not visible publicly.
Song licensing and release information
When you open a licensing project, you provide information about your music release, including your album title, artist, release quantity, format, and song selections. By default, all this information is visible to employees of Legacy Productions, the copyright owners whom we contact to obtain your licenses, and, in some cases, our referral partners. If we identify one or more referral partners credited for referring you to our site, this information might be visible to only those select referral partners, but will not be visible to other partners. Other than to employees, copyright owners, and select referral partners, your Song Licensing and Release information is not visible publicly by default. Once you submit your project, song license status information (for example, "searching", "public domain", "already have permission", "need payment") will also be visible to Legacy employees and select referral partners, but not to the copyright owners, or the public. You have the option to make all this information, including your release information and song licensing status information public by purchasing IDBLM filing and the IDBLM Seal of Authenticity for your licensing, which, for the purpose of legitimizing your licensing efforts through public transparency, will display this information publicly. However, we will not publicly display this information unless requested by you.
Billing information
When you make a purchase, you provide us with your billing information, including your billing name and address, your credit card number, card expiration, and CVV code. By default, we will save only the last four digits of your credit card number, and card expiration date, for transaction identification purposes and refunds. We will not save your credit card number or CVV code by default. However you have the option to save this information securely in our database by checking the box to "Save this card" for faster checkout next time.
Site access information
We keep some information about how you access this site. We might ask your location or automatically determine your location using server technologies. We might save your location information to provide a more engaging and useful service. Also, we might collect information about the device and software you use to access this site, such as your web browser version and IP address.
