Do I still need a license for the original song?
Sometimes. Marketplace purchases cover the rights for the master recording you're buying, but depending on your use (for example film trailers, TV, advertising, or large online campaigns) you may also need permission from the song's publisher (publishing rights). If you're unsure, our team can help you confirm what's needed through Custom Licensing.
How do I receive my files and documentation after purchase?
After checkout, you'll receive access to download your audio files and a Proof of Licensing document for the master recording. If you're working on a deadline for a film or video project, this makes it easy to move forward quickly with the recording side handled.
Can I modify or edit the track I purchase?
Yes. Common edits like trimming, fading, timing adjustments, and mixing under dialog are typically fine. If you need major changes (custom arrangement, new lyrics, or a trailer-style cut), contact us so we can confirm the best path for your project.
