What is an API?

A tool programmers use to add services from third parties such as partners and vendors. For example, you can use Google APIs to incorporate Search, Calendar, and Maps features into your website, thus enhancing your offerings and customer experience. Also called "Application Programming Interface".

Who is this for?

Do you run a music service that needs seamless rights clearance on the backend? Are you a distributor that wants to simplify licensing for your users and keep them on your website? Do you want to add impressive rights handling capabilities to your service and collect referral income? If so, the Easy Song web API is for you.

What is required?

To use the API, you must be a partner. To become a partner, please contact us. To integrate, you will need people who are comfortable with computer programming and knowlegable about working with RESTful APIs. If you have those capabilities in-house, you should have no trouble. If not, you might want to get some outside help. Upon request, we are happy to recommend a development team that can help you build your integration.

How does it work?

  1. Your programmers add our services to your application (using the API).
  2. You send us the required data to clear rights for your music service or clients.
  3. We see each request, process the licensing, and provide support as needed. Pricing is negotiated in your agreement and we send monthly statements.
